What happened to Madeleine?
On the evening of May 3, 2007, Madeleine was staying at the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz with her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, and her younger twin siblings.
Her parents were dining with friends at a nearby restaurant while the children were asleep in the family’s holiday apartment. During one of the regular checks, Kate McCann discovered that Madeleine was missing.
