At just 12 years old, Charlie is now facing life without her big brother, Will Roberts, whose battle with Stage IV osteosarcoma touched people far beyond his Alabama community.
Will endured surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and countless treatments during more than a year of fighting the aggressive bone cancer. But his family’s account of his life has emphasized that the illness never took away his smile, faith, humor or love for the people around him.

Will pá´€ssed away in July 2026 at age 15. His family has continued to emphasize that they want people to remember how he lived, not simply how his story ended.
