President Trump Honors Four Fallen U.S. Service Members During Dignified Transfer at Dover Air Force Base

Dover, Delaware — President Donald J. Trump attended a solemn dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base on July 22, paying tribute to four American service members who l0st their l1v3s while serving in the U.S. Central Command area.

The ceremony marked the return of the fallen to American soil as military personnel carried their flag-draped transfer cases with full honors before their families and senior government officials.

The three soldiers k1ll3d during the July 17 enemy missile attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan were identified as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas; and Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28, of Ozone Park, New York.

Military officials stated that Sgt. Rampersad had initially been listed as missing before investigators determined she had also p3r1sh3d in the att4ck.

The fourth service member honored was Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who d13d on July 19 during the controlled detonation of a downed one-way unmanned aerial system at Erbil Air Base in Iraq.

Defense officials confirmed that his incident was separate from the Jordan missile strike but occurred during the same period of heightened regional conflict.

President Trump was joined by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, who stood alongside military honor guards as each transfer case was carried from the aircraft.

Before the transfer, the president met privately with the families of the four fallen soldiers, offering condolences and expressing gratitude for their loved ones’ service and sacrifice.

According to the Department of Defense, Tyler James Feehan served with the 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Isabella Gonzales and Angel S. Rampersad were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, stationed in Ansbach, Germany.

Michael Emmanuel Swinton served with the 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, also based at Fort Bragg.

Military officials said investigations into the incidents remain ongoing.

The dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base served as a final military tribute before the service members were returned to their families for burial, honoring 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, and Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton for their dedication and service to the United States.
