⚾ THREE MONTHS. ONE LITTLE BOY. ONE PRAYER THAT MILLIONS REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON.

💙⚾🙏 THREE MONTHS. ONE LITTLE BOY. ONE PRAYER THAT MILLIONS REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON.

Three months ago, a baseball struck 12-year-old Xavier Taylor in the neck during warmups.

In a single moment, everything changed.

Xavier collapsed.

His heart stopped.

And the little boy who had gone to the baseball field that day has never opened his eyes again.

Tonight, after nearly three months in a coma, Xavier’s family is asking America to stop for just a moment — to come together, wherever we are, and pray for their son.

At 8:30 p.m. Eastern, they are calling it “Rise Up and Xave.” 💙

One prayer.

One moment.

One hope.

One little boy whose family still believes his story is not over.

If you have been following Xavier’s journey, you know this is no longer just the story of one family in one community.

Somehow, Xavier’s fight has touched hearts far beyond the baseball field where everything began.

Bridges have been illuminated in blue.

Baseball bats have appeared on front porches.

Teams have worn Xavier’s No. 6.

His jersey has hung in dugouts.

People who had never heard his name before have learned who he is — and have started praying for a 12-year-old child they have never even met.

That is what happens when a community refuses to let a child fight alone. 💙

But behind every blue light, every jersey and every prayer is a family living through something no parent should ever have to endure.

Since May 26, Xavier’s parents have faced days that must feel impossibly long.

Three months of hospital rooms.

Three months of watching monitors.

Three months of hoping for a sign.

Three months of wondering if today might finally be the day their son wakes up.

Three months without hearing Xavier laugh.

Without hearing his voice.

Without seeing him walk through the door.

Without knowing what tomorrow will bring.

And yet…

They keep showing up.

They keep believing.

They keep praying.

They keep speaking their son’s name.

Because when you are a parent, hope can become the one thing you refuse to surrender.

Tonight, they are asking everyone who has stood beside Xavier to stand with him again.

Not tomorrow.

Not someday.

Tonight.

At the same time, people across communities and across the country will pause and pray for the same little boy.

Imagine what that must mean to Xavier’s family.

Imagine being a mother or father sitting beside your child after three exhausting months — and knowing that thousands of strangers are somewhere else tonight, saying your son’s name.

People in homes.

People in churches.

People on baseball fields.

People gathered with friends.

People praying quietly by themselves.

People who may have never met Xavier, but who have decided that his life matters to them.

That is a powerful kind of love.

And tonight, perhaps more than anything, Xavier’s family needs to feel that they are not alone.

So if you believe in prayer, please pray for Xavier tonight. 🙏

Pray for his brain.

Pray for his body.

Pray for healing.

Pray for strength.

Pray for his parents, who have carried three months of fear, exhaustion, uncertainty and hope.

Pray for every family member who has had to be strong when they were probably hurting inside.

And pray for the miracle they have never stopped believing could happen.

Because sometimes, when there are no easy answers, all we can do is hold onto hope.

And sometimes, hope is stronger when thousands of people carry it together.

💙 Xavier, you are not forgotten.

Your name has traveled far beyond that baseball field.

Your No. 6 has been worn by people who want you to know that you are still part of their team.

Your story has reached strangers who now care about a little boy they have never met.

Tonight, they will stand with you again.

So wherever you are at 8:30 p.m. Eastern, if you can, pause for Xavier.

Close your eyes.

Say his name.

Say a prayer.

Ask for healing.

Ask for strength.

Ask for a miracle.

And then leave a message below for Xavier’s family.

If you could tell Xavier’s mom and dad one thing tonight — after everything they have endured for these past three months — what would you want them to know?

Let them see how many people are still standing beside their son.

Let them know their little boy is still being remembered.

Still being prayed for.

Still being loved.

🙏💙⚾ Rise up, Xave.

Keep fighting, little man.

America is still praying with you.

The Zoom information for tonight’s 8:30 p.m. Eastern prayer gathering will be shared in the comments.
